    Soil: Sandy, nutrient poor soil that drains quickly 

    Sun: Lavenders need full sun (at least 6 hours per day).

    Water: Once in every two weeks. (Indoor)

    Environment: Lavenders enjoy full sun and with good air flow and warm temperatures in their native range.

    Why do Lavender plants turn yellow?

    • Excessive nitrogen levels in the soil
    • Too much fertiliser
    • Over watering
    • Poor soil drainage
    • High humidity

     Symptoms: Yellow/brown foliage with overall drooping /wilting appearance

    Cause: Over watering  or  slow draining soil, not under watering  (lavenders are drought resistant).

    Solution: Stop watering for at least three weeks and let the soil and roots dry out.

     Symptoms: Yellow foliage, with leggy appearance and few flowers

    Cause:  Soil that is too high in nitrogen.

    Solution: Amend soil with sand or grit
