Huernia Zebrina (Carrion Flower)

Huernia zebrina is a small perennial succulent that grows in a creeping pattern.

The succulent comes from parts of Southern Africa, where it thrives in dry conditions

The flower produces a very odd odor that is reminiscent of rotting meat to attract pollinators

    Bright, indirect light is optimal for these plants. Too much light is identified by the green parts of the plant turning red. This plant doesn’t grow well in high heat.

    Do not use potting soil, garden soil, or any organic soil mixture for these plants  .  2:2:1 = coarse sand:garden soil with no water retaining elements : perlite/pumice
