Hoya linearis (线叶球兰)
Native to the Himalayas, Hoya linearis is a cooler growing species (15°-29°C)as it grows at higher altitudes in the wild. This is a delicate plant with weak roots and grows as an epiphyte. Its flowers have a lemony scent.

Light Preference Bright, indirect, filtered sunlight.
Avoid direct light because the leaves will burn and shrivel in intense sun.
Note that Hoya Linearis will actually need some periods of darkness to thrive.
Water Preference Moderate water.
Allow the soil to dryout in between watering.

Scorched leaves -> Too much sun, and low humidity. This Hoya enjoys moderate to high humidity(50 to 70% ). Mist regulary with filtered water to increase humidity or use a humidifier.
Leaves shrivelling -> overwatering or underwatering.
Sudden shedding of leaves -> sudden exposure to cold temperatures.
Yellow leaves with white speckles -> spidermite attack.
Not flowering -> lack of light.
