A perennial herbaceous plant which typically grows about 30 - 50 cm tall. The leaves are narrow, oblong to lanceolate, slightly fragrant. The flowers are white, snapdragon-like flowers and borne on erect inflorescence. Individual flowers are about 2 cm across. Each flower has 2 lips, the upper lip has two corolla lobes while the lower lip has three.
